Create your Most Engaging Presentation Ever

position yourself as a credible and confident expert[/text_block]

You know that sinking feeling when …

No-one is smiling. Or nodding. Or anything.
They just aren’t getting it.
You ask a question in an attempt to get some sort of response and get…
Nothing.
It’s hard to imagine anything that feels quite as bad as this.
Your confidence plummets – your delivery becomes wooden. You just want to get this over with and wouldn’t care less if you never had to give another presentation in your life.[/text_block]

But now you’ve got another presentation coming up.
You’re determined to be engaging – to connect with your audience – to make an impact.
You’re going to nail it!

One of my tasks was to deliver presentations to Government agencies to educate them about the role of the Office of the Ombudsmen.
I tried to make up for the rather boring nature of my content by being energetic and dynamic in my delivery.
But it didn’t seem to help. I would look at my audience and most of them were zoning out. My energy would sag.
I remember after one particular presentation we all had morning tea together. It was an opportunity to chat. Absolutely no-one came up to speak to me. The feeling of rejection was agonizing.[/text_block]

His success led him to be asked to train others who wanted to enter the field.
He realised that the key to successful training was the same as the key to producing a successful song – audience engagement. And, as a producer, he’d figured out many of the techniques that would build, or break, engagement. Find the core – create a journey – use variety – reach a climax.
After talking with Tony, I realised that I was looking for engagement in the wrong place. Engagement depended on my content, not my delivery.
Through Tony’s training, advice and guidance I gradually became an engaging presenter. I started to enjoy presenting and the results my presentations were getting. This was despite being an introvert and presenting on dry legal topics. (I also married him but that’s another story!)
18 years ago, Tony and I founded Effective Speaking and, since then, we’ve trained thousands of presenters – both new and experienced – in the engagement strategies and techniques that he first taught me.[/text_block]

Most people don’t understand the true source of engagement

We know that that’s not true.
We believe that to be an engaging presenter you need to know how to prepare engaging content.
Once you get that right, you can let go of having to compensate by “performing” or delivering in an artificial or inauthentic manner which is not YOU.
When you know that your content is engaging, your confidence and enthusiasm skyrockets. And your delivery will naturally reflect that increased sense of confidence.[/text_block]

The good news is that anyone can prepare great content!

We have the system – it’s called the SpeakerMap™.
We’ve taught it to thousands of people over the last 18 years. We’ve fine-tuned it over and over to ensure that it gets the best results for our clients.
The SpeakerMap™ will enable you to prepare an effective and engaging presentation, so that you can impress your audience and come across as a credible and confident expert.
Until now the SpeakerMap™ has only been available to people who can come to our live events…[/text_block]
